Gib-dox Christmas

Christmas with the Gib/Dox crew.
It was one. Constant. Party! We literally had a family gathering five nights in a row. So fun to be with everyone...but I think it wore our kids right out. Not many families with 70+ people can pull that off with little to no drama and a relatively happy crew. And this year no one threw up!

Driving. An endearing sight.
I never have to worry if exercise will be a part of our vacation. This is an active bunch. Luckily- I'm always up for sport! Every morning, there is spinning, running, or some kind of workout. I love it. I also love that there are so many willing teenagers who want/are willing to watch our kids.
Snow hiking at South Fork.
Grammie prepared a Sunday night devotional on the topic of the signs of the times. Complete with group activities, object lessons, and gifting of books. Pretty amazing that she can get everyone to listen!

And of course, that was followed by her notorious gift giving, she goes above and beyond every year. And makes it a priority to wrap every single gift.
The little girls all got jewelry boxes with some of Grammie's jewelry.

The older girls got some of her old sweaters....nice!

Cosi is often left with the task of watching our kids...such a trooper.

The Gib/Dox originals.
We snuck in a bit of time to see Ryan and Amber's family and some Hammond cousins. We played broom hockey at the church then went sledding..always a hoot. I got to stay behind with Amelia and the babes during the sledding. I love that girl.

The big Family gift exchange took place at Dan and Julie's this year. So much chaos but I will never be in awe at the amount of control in this big group.

And of course, the last night was the awesome family dance at the Young's. This group can dance! And I love that our girls watch & learn some pretty groovy steps from their older cousins.

We also got to visit Grannie Rae in her new condo. She even treated us to lunch. She's such good company.

On the road home driving past the salt flats.

We got pulled over, dangit!

One last totally not planned picture from our hike!
