November

November always flies for me. The anticipation/preparation of the Holidays just does that I guess.
This year seemed a bit crazier since we had just barely moved into our new house. There were many things I let slide this year. But here's a little tid-bit of our month (very much out of order).

The girls continue to be such great helpers. I think Brigham has a love/hate relationship with them, of course its mostly love. :)

We are trying to get out of the habit of eating cereal every morning, since we tend to waste so much. So naturally the girls ask for pancakes or eggs every single morning. Doug took the time to show Sydney how to make her own. It wasn't long before she touched the pan and was screaming but we always appreciate the desire.

We watched the Peachy kids for a weekend. Sydney and Lizzie Mae play so wonderfully together.

Romantic skies...my kind of weather.

Leah hasn't enjoyed school as much as the previous years, the new common core has been very challenging for her. Her teacher, Mrs. Hayes, is one of the main common core trainers in the district so she's very gung-ho about it. With that said, I really like Mrs. Hayes and will be so sad to lose her when we switch schools.  She does a great job of keeping parents involved. One of my favorite things is a monthly parent luncheon. The students always share something they've been learning or put on some kind of performance. This month, we had a fondue party and they put on a little Thanksgiving skit. Leah's role was wheat.
What a cutie!

Lizzie came to visit the week before Thanksgiving. We weren't able to go see her right after her mission so this was our reunion with the previous sister Jensen. She is such a blast! The best sister, aunt, friend, guest, listener, helper. Just all around good stuff.

And while she was here, she pushed us out the door to go on a date, we got to see Unbroken, which was so good!

This was one of those "right now moments" all the kids being so good, doing their own thing. I love it.
And Liz helped me rearrange my furniture to make it much more practical and inviting.

And sometime during the month, Brigham started crawling.
He's just such a stud.

Thanksgiving was phenomenal. The whole Jensen crew went down to LA. Definitely a Thanksgiving for the books. I love this family of mine.
