Christmas 2014

The holiday season was quite a whirl this year due to moving into our new house, I just felt like there was so much to be done, we barely got the boxes unpacked in time for Thanksgiving, then December comes and goes so quickly...it just gets crazy. So this year I just had to let some traditions slide.
With that said, it was very fun to be able to have our first Christmas in our new house. The Pratts joined us the night of December 23rd and stayed until the 26th. It's always so much fun to spend Christmas with family, and the more kids to add to the magic of Christmas.

Christmas Eve we went to Paradise Cove to play around on the bounce houses. Then rushed home to get Christmas Eve dinner ready with the missionaries. And then finished off the evening with one of the seasons highlights, I love you's for the Savior. Sometimes I don't look forward to it because I feel a bit unworthy and frazzled but listening to others and feeling the spirit and the love of my Savior, the night always turns out so amazing.Unfortunately, I didn't I didn't get any pictures of our fun.

And of course, setting out stockings and cookies for Santa and receiving new PJ's ended the night.

Christmas morning started at 4:30, and being the mean parents we are, the kids were sent back to bed until 6 am. Oh, always so early! But the excitement and magic of it all makes it worth it.

A real Christmas miracle, snow. Just a bit, but we haven't gotten much at all so it was exciting.

Opening the family tent with a dance.

I love watching the girls get excited to gift their presents to each other.
That they purchased with money they earned themselves.

Nothing as rewarding as watching kids play with their presents!
This year, the girls made such incredible gifts at school! I look forward to using them as decorations around the house for years to come.

Just chowin down on a king size chocolate bar before 8 am
