Christmas dinner 2014

I guess once you do something twice, it becomes a tradition. And now, we have a tradition of putting on a Christmas dinner party for our girls and their friends. It really is so much fun, albeit a bit stressful and crazy.
We had a total of 15 girls this year, which proved to be quite the group.
I love having the girls dress up, it just makes it feel all the more special.
And this year, it was just Doug and I, we didn't have any helpers. We really tried to stress the importance of manners and acting proper. Some girls bought it, and others just decided it was all the more reason to be goofy. But as long as they have fun, its worth it.

We played bingo, had races to "wrap a snowman," and then made chocolate/caramel pretzels and homemade suckers. I'll tell you, the homemade treats was a bit ambitious, it was so messy! But scrumptious!

And Doug...he's just a champ! What a great Dad to act all proper and serve this crazy crowd.

Sydney felt pretty special that she got to invite friends this year. Last minute, Lizzy Mae got sick so it was just Saddie but that meant they had great one-on-one fun!
