The Halloween season lasted over a week this year. It's becoming quite the celebration. Between all the parties, we had multiple costumes. It started with ward trunk-or-treat, Reed's Safe Harbor, Hunter Lake's fall festival, class parties, ballet parties, and finally Halloween night. As a result we had a ton of candy in our house and were ready for Halloween to end. Brigham was so fun to take trick-or-treating. He would say "dank-oo" to everyone and started saying it before he reached the door. He always had candy in each hand and in his mouth at all times, he didn't bother unwrapping it. The girls were out long enough to fill their buckets to the top. Leah's even broke.
This seasons costumes:
Leah: dead Pink Lady (I don't know why we have to be dead), and a princess
Paige: A cat. Elsa. Butterfly
Sydney: Cute cowgirl. Ariel. Dead cowgirl- again why dead?
Brigham: The cutest monkey ever.
Mom: Pirate/gypsie
Dad: Duck Dynasty something.

The girls each sold their candy to the candy fairy. Leah was ready to get rid of it Halloween night. I think she was on such a sugar high, she didn't care. The next morning, she came into our room with a little bit of regret on her face. But I was proud of her. I was completely shocked when Sydney told me she was ready to sell it Monday night. She was elated about her $6.00.
