Only being eight hours from Utah is great. It's still eight LONG hours but its about forty closer than we were before. And so it was very nice to make it to Utah for the Gib/Dox Thanksgiving this year. Apparently I was gung-ho about taking pictures for the race and forgot to document most of the rest. Either way, we had a blast, as we always do with all our cousins.
True to Gib/Dox form, we started with a Turkey Trot. I was unable to participate because my toe is still healing and I really haven't been running much this pregnancy. Everyone was stellar!
| Cute Ella and Sydney |
We stayed with Dan and Julie's family. These girls have a good time together. Constant crafts and pretend play. Dan got out twister and taught them some Bochi.
Bry and Cheri hosted Thanksgiving, I think our numbers are in the 80's. Its total chaos but that doesn't stop Grammie from a little Thanksgiving lesson. I think the grandkids heard it!

| After a day full of cooking, the women were given firsts at the pie. Aunt Heidi had to intervene! |
Emily threw a party for Ella...the cousins LOVED it!
We also went to Frozen, the creamery, had a date night with all 24 adults. It was good fun!
And here is what we were thankful for this year:
Doug: Family who support me. A job that provides resources for us to live and that I like. A healthy body. Especially my wife.
Amber- Fee, healthy fee to walk on. Medicine (esp zofran) Doug- his endless service, sacrifice, and love. My girly girls- their laughter! Finally feeling like we are getting a head in life.
Leah- Clothes. Holidays. Our body. I am grateful for my sisters
Paige- The scriptures- it tells us about a long time ago. Butterflies. Jesus. Missionaries. Bodies- so we can move. Food and Water- the sacrament. That I have a family. School. Doctors.
Sydney- For Jesus. For all our body so we can jump and twirl. For playing at nursery. We dance!
