Doxey baby quatro

We are finally half way to the arrival of baby number four. This pregnancy has been a doosey!

-Feeling sick right after moving here and not wanting to talk to/get to know anyone.
-Being sicker than ever before, I usually threw up once a day with the girls, but once an hour was the norm this time around. Until Zofran!
-Taking way longer to unpack/organize our home = a house of chaos
-Doug starting a new job and coming home every night to do all house work, feed kids, put them to bed, etc. He did everything!
-Not being able to get insurance- no one will take us!!!
-When I was finally out of the nauseous stage, we decided to treat my warts, putting me back in bed and off my feet for another two weeks!

I know, many people have worse but I just wanted to remember these details because we all know it will be funny one day!

And of course it is always worth it!
The belly already popping out at 13 weeks!
We just had our 20-week ultrasound. Doug couldn't get out of work so it was just me. I always like to talk through everything with the ultrasound tech, to use as much anatomy as I remember. As she made her way done the body, this was the gender reveal conversation:
"So, what do you have at home?"
me: "Three girls."
"Are going to run for the hills if its another girl?"
me: "Of course not, we love our girls."
(she paused for a bit so I thought that was kind of her telling me, then she said..
"Well, you don't have to cause this is a boy."
me: "What? Show me it! I want to see proof!"
And then I cried....

Telling Doug was so fun! I bought three pink balloons for our three girls, and one blue. They were tied to a Hot Wheels car. I walked into his office and handed him the balloons. He said, "there's more pink, so is it a girl?" I had to hint that the balloons represent our FOUR kids. He kissed me a wet one right there. It was so fun!

Doug brought the balloons home to tell the girls and we really had to piece the puzzle together for them but once they got it, all three jumped around screaming.

WE ARE THRILLED!
