Girls Week in New Jersey [of all places]?

Our awesome friend, Brittany, came to visit. What a blast!
As soon as we found out Tara was moving to Vineland, Britt began planning a trip to see both of us.
The whole weekend we were talking about how weird it is that Tara and I are in New Jersey. Who would have thought we'd both be here, and Southern New Jersey?

Brittany is a great friend. She's my most loyal friend. We met the year I moved to Arizona way back in 1998. Our friendship was solidified at Girls Camp when we sang every single word from The Flood album (They Might Be Giants) together.

We remained compadres through High School and even got to be room mates at BYU. She actually knew Doug before I did, which makes it all the more fun for us. So many wonderful memories.

Brittany is all around a good time, I love being with her. Good conversations and great laughs.

Tara, Britt, and I made a great trio this past weekend. We were so sad to see it end.

We bought matching scarves in Philly and wore them proudly.

I made this pregnant lady jump but caught the babe so as to prevent harm.
We didn't get one normal shot in front of Independence Hall, just too much laughter.
I love this blurry picture, it just makes me happy.

Tara and Britt weren't much better holding still.

Reading Terminal was packed that day but we made sure to get our share of Hope's cookies.

Tomb of the Unknown Solider. Thousands of soldiers from the Revolutionary War were buried under this plaza. It has a very sacred feeling.  I love what is says at the top, "Freedom is a Light for which many men have died in Darkness."
Being here gave me some hope after my sadness from November 6th.

Thanks for the good times Britt and Tara!
