Some things just aren't meant to be.

Or they are highly coveted. Today I got my bike stolen AGAIN. As a result I had an awful day, seriously. I was so mad all day. Doug gave me new SPD pedals for my birthday and I got to use them on three rides. I also got a bike trailer for my birthday, the hitch for it is still on my bike. The worst part is that the bike was taken out of my parents closed garage, and was very inaccessible. They even knocked my Dad's bike down to get it out. Basically, they knew what they were looking for. It drives me crazy to think that we're in Utah and I can't take my kids on a ride (which I usually do three times a week) or hit the awesome trails (oh...especially in the fall). A little bit of my happiness was stripped from me today. Maybe I'll have the same luck as last time.

Me, my girls, my DiamondBack.

my goodness! What are the odds? That is not fair and ppl are just plain mean! I'm sorry Amber!! If I had a bike you'd like i'd give it to you. Come to think of it, no one would probably want my mountain bike, so there ya go!

WHAT?!!?!? how is that even possible... seriously? that sucks sucks sucks. i am so terribly sorry. you should start stalking the neighborhood. its obviously someone that has seen you around. cause how would they know where it was?? oh, the worst part is not knowing. head on over to DI and pick up a crappy bike. you will never have it stolen again.
sorry my friend.... hang in there.

I am so sorry - I feel your pain. I think you might remember we lost my bike off the back of our van and then someone stole it off the side of the highway (in a matter of minutes). People are so wrong - we too lost our bike trailer thing but we just replaced that. I am seriously sorry - I bet your parents feel violated too - right out of their CLOSED garage. Be sure to mention this during dinner at the next Gib Dox get together since everyone there thinks that things like that only happen in Vegas. :)

In a way, we all have an el guapo. In this case, it happens to be a bike thief that has been stalking your bike. There are a gazillion awesome bikes on Craigslist out here, so I'll look for yours when I have a minute. Or, better yet, come out here and we'll find you a beauty.

Really sad...sorry.

You guys are in Utah! How fun to be close to your family party!

And my advice for getting burnt out on running was going to be biking...it has made me so excited to exercise again. But maybe you will have to wait a bit on that one. How about swimming? Your girls are darling! How fun that they can interact and play together.
