Leah's birthday was this last Sunday, I believe I was almost as excited as she was. She's been telling everyone for the past couple months that her birthday is in August and she's gonna be 3, like Gavin. We really took advantage of being around family and had two great parties for Leah. Sunday we celebrated with about 30 people from Doug's side. Leah was in heaven, everyone gave her something princess, Brynn made games for the kids, and I made three creative (if I may say so myself) cakes. Good times.
We celebrated with my family on Monday. Leah asked for pizza "and we can make it too." So between the pizza and cakes I was baking all day. Again, Leah was in heaven and couldn't believe she got "MORE PRESENTS!"
This is a great depiction of what Leah looked like the entire birthday song, as if she were thinking, "Nothing could ever get better than this."
There were only two kids at the Jensen party so I thought I'd make a more adult cake for us. And yes, it was delicious.
Thanks to all our families for making our 3-year old really feel like a princess.

That face is priceless. She was in hog heaven. I can't wait to see Natalie into the princess stuff (oh wait - yes I can). The boys already think that she needs everything pink. I am sad we didn't get to celebrate but it is fun that you got to be around so much family. Happy Birthday little Leah - I mean big 3 year old!!!

Wow Amber and Doug--Always a party! I hope Leah had the best day EVER! She's the cutest! It looks like so much fun with all the family!! Your Anniversary trip looks way fun too! We miss you guys -can't wait til Nov!
