I continue to love being able to spend time with family, not to mention the wide open spaces and so many great things to do here. But with the feeling and smell, yes smell, of fall in the air, I find myself missing NYC. I love fall out east, and sometimes I kind of miss having a home too. We miss our friends who we'd go to the park with or pumpkin patches on blistery cold days, we miss our friends upstate who'd let us com any time to get away from the city, we miss our downstairs neighbors, we miss our ward family, we miss a lot (for the record I definitely don't miss the traffic or doing laundry). Ok so no need to get too sentimental but I just wanted to give a shout out to our friends who we love so dearly.
And now here's some pics from some of the fun we've had recently. Laura, Lilly, and Jensen stayed after the wedding to hang out with us and support us in the marathon. We loved spending time with them. Lilly was the perfect playmate for my girls. And having baby Jensen around convinced Leah that it's time for mommy to get another baby. Great.
My mom lives close to a cute place called Gardner Village, I just love it. They decorate so cute for the holidays. We went over to enjoy the (busty) witches. Laura let me have some fun with her nice camera, I would love to have a nice camera some day.
This witch was playing "peek-a-boo" with the girls. They loved it.

Grammie took us to This is the Place Heritage Village on Labor Day. I was so proud of how well Leah did with the animals (she's terrified of most things that move). Grammie even took her on a pony ride. And she loved it!

Oh we miss you too!!! Hoping to get in our first pumpkin excursion this monday. Wish you could be here, although you look like you are having enough fun without us. The girls are looking too big! Get them back here so we can play!

Wow Amber and Doug--such fun pictures!! We are loving the smell of fall too--the trees are starting to change--it is so fun. Gardner Village is way fun!-especially in the fall. I'm so jealous!
