Local Festivities

The park that is close to us hosts a summer Musical Festival every Friday or Saturday night through August. Two of the highlights are The Platters and the Glen Miller Orchestra...sweet! This past Friday was the kick off , it was a relaxing evening in the park listening to jazz music. At the beginning there was a fireboat shooting Red, White, and Blue water at the shore and the night was followed by a fireworks show, lets just say I can't wait to see what the Fourth of July will be like after that show. It was very impressive. This was the best looking man I found in the park.A family photo at the show. Leah wasn't very happy about being kept up until...
...the fireworks began. With the first explosion, she stood straight up and began clapping her hands. She was in awe for most of it but managed to still fall asleep by the end of it.
This is the latest picture of Mom and Leah, we were trying to get her to wave but she didn't cooperate, she's obsessed with waving lately. The door to our building is behind us and as soon as we step out into the courtyard Leah starts waving to anything possible.

Way to go Leah...Sammy has no desire to wave. He has done it before but I can't get him to do it for the life of me!! Sounds like the 4th will be fun. We hope that our first fourth in Vegas will be enjoyable - it is expected to be 114 degrees!
