We celebrated Leah's birthday (August 30th) twice and rushed right into school- unfortunately, it's been chaos. I just wanted to post these cute pics of our FIVE-YEAR-OLD. Leah has a very empowering personality. She makes her mind up and shabang!
She woke up on her birthday and asked Doug, "Dad, can I read now?" Apparently she can b/c when it was time to pick her book out of the box at the library for the summer reading prize. She picked, The Hobbit, because, "i'm big now and I can read."
I love Leah. I'm pretty sad she's all big and going to school now. I haven't really had a chance to miss her yet, b/c she hasn't made her mind up yet that she likes school. We've eaten lunch a couple times and had some pretty dramatic days. Everyone says, just enjoy that she wants to be with me now, there will come a time when she won't want to. And I do enjoy it, but I hope that's never true.
We love you Leah!

Can't believe our Leah's are 5. Would love to meet up with you in Central Park. Do you want to do a week day with just your little ones, or a weekend with Doug? I'm open to either. We actually have next Thurs and Fri (29th and 30th) off of school. Does Leah have school those days or would one of them work? Send me an e-mail. lindsayfleming01@yahoo.com
