My brother Jay just received his call to serve for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Bangkok, Thailand mission. I am so excited for him, he will amazing!
And on the potty thing, Andrew would say no everytime we tried, but then one day he just decided to do it. I think you just have to wait until they decide they want to. Sorry, I am not much help! Good Luck

I lived in Bangkok, Thailand for about 6 mo dancing and modeling for the Miss All nation's pageant back in the late 80's. It's a great place and the people were so nice. I am sure some has changed but much has not. How exciting for him.
I'm glad I'm not to the potty training stage, but I must admit I'm not looking forward to it. I'm currently trying to survive getting through the teething stage and it's almost enought to kill me.
