So my mom hates to admit this but she was Miss Idaho back in 1973, which means she competed in the Miss USA pageant. When ever we bring this up she gets really embarrassed and denies it. As a result we obviously make it a much bigger deal by calling her Miss Idaho / Potato. My brother-in-law found her picture along with all the other delegates from that year on some random website and here she is! Sorry Mom- there's no more denying it!She's beauty and she's grace...

Amber you are probably not expecting this from us but yes we have a blog now too. Just starting out and no where near as creative as you are but if you want to check it out you can. I just wanted to say that there is no reason to be ashamed of Idaho. so tell your mom that she should be proud to be Miss Potato!
