January

I love having three weeks off for Christmas break. Having a week to wind down after all the festivities is incredible! Coming home from visiting family, we are always wasted and I hate rushing back into regular life feeling wasted. So January 2015 started out great. and relaxing. 

I drifted off while reading to Syd one morning and woke up all dolled up! Sweet girl.

The girls are getting really good at taking care of Brigham...and he adores them. 

Standing ovation for Sydney...who ate all her food! Completely spontaneous. I love it!

One of Paige's birthday gifts was tickets to see BYU's Young Ambassadors for  Leah, Paige, and me. 

I wasn't sure how they would do through the whole performance, but they loved the whole thing, were very attentive.

Sometimes, I don't know what the girls are up to...and I find sweet things like this.

Had to capture this moment. Most afternoons are so hard. Can't get anything done with Brigham awake and I often have kids crawling all over me. I'm trying to enjoy it!

Paige turns 7. Such a sweet, spunky, girl. And lucky to share her day with Heidi ,who made her day with this amazing homemade Elza costume. Paige was in heaven.

I rarely go to bed with a dirty kitchen. But without fail, this is how it looks after the mad rush of the morning...seriously!?

And the most challenging part of the month was switching the kids over to their new school. We loved Westergard. The girls had good attitudes about it but were so scared. I was sad and scared. It was a rough week but we got through it and the girls made friends quickly. Leah loves her teacher and feels much more confident in math because her old was further ahead so its been great for her confidence in school.

Cute Syd started "nastics" this month.

Doug had to go up for Sky Tavern training so we decided to go up and take advantage of the snow.

Also James Huish visited us for a week, looking at a job opportunity up here. 

We are crossing our fingers.

Our Children's museum membership expired this month, on our last day we picked a great day to go because the girls got to build their own trucks. They both got really into it.

Such. A. Cute. Boy. He brings a lot of happiness into our home.

I asked for a cordless vacuum for Christmas. Little did I know, the girls enjoy sweeping with it.
So I kind of got two gifts in one! Win-win for me!
