August ended up being a bit of a busy month for us. We had to get everything ready for school before going to Arizona for the Jensen family reunion. We actually missed out on the entire first week of school which I didn't think would be that big of a deal. It turned out to be much more stressful than I anticipated. But the reunion was worth it and we pulled through the stress of trying to get back into the school routine and all the catch up work.
The rest of the month consisted of...
Rocking out
I love this picture for so many reasons.
Teaching Brigham the true art of vegging out in front of the TV...not thrilled about this but it happened.
Fed Brigham his first solid food. We all got in on the action.
Brigham liked the girls' reactions more than the rice cereal...but, I don't blame him.
The JFR deserves its own book, well actually its own book, but this picture is just great.
This little guy rolled over, without my permission, or my knowledge. We all missed it, and he was pretty proud of himself.
Leah turned eight! We had three weekends in a row dedicated to celebrations. Her birthday with family, her baptism, and then her friends birthday party. Oh my!
Leah requested a donut cake, makes my job easier.

Excited to be eight!
Brigham continues to make new discoveries.
We went to the Animal Ark and Syd was our guide. We saw almost every animal.
First day of school pictures. These are two cute girls!
Doug got us tickets to see Brian Regan....laughed until we cried.
We just love Reno in the summer, something fun every weekend. This year we tried out the 'Best of the West Rib cook off.' We were newbies and will be much more prepared next year. Syd was the only kid that really enjoyed the ribs. Leah and Paige preferred the pulled pork.
We don't go anywhere near burning man but I feel like the whole city kind of transforms as the "burners" pass through. You can always tell exactly who is a burner. For some reason, they all pack the same way.
And we began soccer Saturdays. Paige is fun to watch and loves playing defense.
