This was Sydney's first year to have a friend's birthday party and she has been talking about it for months. The theme has changed many times but in the end we settled on a fairy party. Sydney has more boy friends than girls but she said only girls are coming so I was so worried that hardly anyone would show up. And I was right. Only two girls her age came. Luckily we had some of Paige and Leah's friends, and the Jorgensen's to thicken the crowd. But Sydney was in heaven and all that mattered was that we spent time on just her for the day.
Sierra and Kristie came over to help with all the girls hair and make-up and then each girl got a skirt, wand, wings, and flower head band. Talk about getting dolled up!

In true Heidi form, she spoiled Syd (we decided this would be the gift for all three girls for the year). She gave them about 100 handmade bows on a cute hanging sign.
I always love watching the excitement on the kids' faces as they circle around to watch the opening of the presents. There's literally an electrical current in the circle.

We sure love our Sydney Sue, Syd-ba-did, Squeedo. She has so much spunk and imagination.
