July

Between visits to Utah, then going to Arizona for the Jensen family reunion, July was pretty mellow. Which we needed. The school calendar year gives six weeks for summer but that goes so fast, especially with a trip or two.
While at home, we took advantage of the two swimming pools in our area and swam almost every day. Oh, the lap of luxury!
Here's some other highlights from our month...

Lots of outside play means lots of baths, although I got a bit lazy took shampoo and conditioner to the pool so that we wouldn't have to do it at home too...it was nice!

I don't know who likes having the girls home more, myself or Sydney. She missed her sisters during the school day. And I love watching them come up with fun ways to entertain one another.

Bike rides and family walks. Something I will always love.

This is the first year we've been able to go school shopping with the girls. I look forward to many more trips with these girls who have their own opinions and styles.

After years and years of training, my kids now expect Saturday morning chores. And how rewarding is this...Leah is teaching Sydney how to clean the toilet.

Reno doesn't have a bunch of pools and water parks, a new splash pad opened in Stead. We had to pay $3, which baffles me...but we had a blast with a bunch of ladies in our ward.

We purchased a juicer. I started out with the Mean Green Smoothie, from Fat Sick and Nearly Dead, and will never make that particular one again. I just make up my own and am really enjoying them now.

Each day the little mister gets cuter and cuter!
