Three weeks and counting!

With four weeks to go until baby number four joins our family, I really wasn't feeling prepared. I hardly put any thought into setting all the baby stuff up, getting boy clothes, etc, etc. 

But after so many sweet angels, I feel more ready than ever and am actually feeling excitement!

The ladies in our ward love any excuse for a party. There was no way out of them giving me a baby shower. I really don't know what I would have done for clothes for this kid. 

I had a few things and just thought I'd get by but after so many generous women, we are set! And we are so excited to see this little boy in all his cute blue and green clothes!

After the baby shower, the girls were so excited, they set everything out on our bed for Leah and Dad to see.

Karla and Abbey came to visit, but apparently Karla had more than a visit in mind. She helped out in so many ways. She spent an entire day in the kitchen preparing freezer meals. I had put some thought into it but didn't have the energy or desire to begin, but now our freezer is packed! So grateful!

We also got to attend the General Woman's broadcast together. I can't remember the last time I attended that with a sister. We made a date of it and had so much fun being our silly selves that you don't always get to be as mothers. I just love laughing with Karla!

The girls were great helpers in the assembly line for pork burritos.

Leah, Paige, and Syd got the perfect taste of what it will be like to have their little brother in the house. Abbey was so patient with the constant mauling...especially from Sydney. Leah and Paige are going to be great helpers! 

After a full day of cooking, she insisted on doing everything for Sunday dinner as well! What a champ!

Dave, Thomas and James drove from SLC to pick up Karla and Abbey- a long drive for a pick-up! But we were so excited to have them. The girls loved playing with the boys and after they left Sydney repeated all day, "I love Thomas and James!" We love any quality cousin time we can get!

Karla's always so good at getting the kids pumped up and playing games with them.

Sydney set up chairs for me to paint her nails, do hair and make-up. And then she said, "now your turn!" I can't reach my toes right now so why not! It was pretty sloppy but I could tell she felt like a million bucks doing it by herself and pampering Mom.
