My youngest sister, Mariam, is leaving for her mission April 9th. Due to my pregnant state, our family won't be able to make it to Texas for her farewell so we asked her to come to us. She was actually our first official visitor in Reno. She is such a great aunt, sister, and all-around person. It was our families first time getting Mo (we have a lot of nicknames for her) all to ourselves. Sydney decided at the end that she didn't want Mariam to serve a mission because she likes her too much!
And I will say, it was so nice to have extra help- she: entertained the girls, let me sleep in and run errands alone, and just someone to hang out with and talk to. I love Mo, she will be an excellent missionary.

| We picked Leah up from school for a St. Patricks day lunch- Nothing makes Leah feel more special than leaving school for a lunch date. And as you can see, they all had to sit on the same bench as her. |

We headed over to San Francisco for the weekend. A first for all of us except for Doug.

| I think Syd was born to be a city girl. She kept us laughing so hard as she turned the busy sidewalks into her personal obstacle course. Our favorite was watching her jump on a fire-hydrant and scream, "Go horsie!" She obviously has no idea how many dogs use that as their urinal. |
Sometimes I just miss public transportation:
We stopped at the cable car museum, which was so fascinating to learn about the pulley system built under the streets. Here is the cable barn, which powers all the cables.
Fisherman's Wharf
On our way to SF, we stopped at the Jelly Belly Factory, which is FREE! It was an awesome tour and of course ends off with free Jelly Belly's- what could be better than that?
