Residency Graduation

Doug's program stepped it up this year and actually had an even to recognize the resident graduates. 

We had such a busy weekend and week ahead of us getting ready to move so it was so nice to be take some time away from the craziness and celebrate. 

It was actually quite surreal that residency is actually over. 

The evening wasn't anything to write home about but it was nice that they at least acknowledged them.

My favorite part of the evening was having a number of different doctors come up to me and rant and rave about how amazing Doug is. They all said he has some of the best hands as a surgeon and each of them said if we ever needed a job, Doug had one with them in a heart beat.

After the decade of work that goes into a profession, it was so refreshing to hear the confidence people had in my husband who I've had confidence in and believed in all along. It made me so proud.

I have loved watching Doug learn from and develop friendships with all the people he comes in contact with.  Jeff was a great co-resident. I don't think they could have complimented each other any better.

Such a great accomplishment...I sure love Doug for all his hard work.
