This is a sad post because it represents the end of a fun era. The East Coast Jensen's era is coming to an end. The Pratts will be moving to LA in September which means that Ryan and Amber's family will be the only ones in the East. It has been so fun these last three years to take turns gathering in New Jersey or New England. There has been something very intimate about our times together, we've gotten so close! The cousins just adore each other.
The Jensen's came down memorial day weekend for one last visit. It was such a great visit, one of our favorites!
Typical cartoons early in the morning...all squished on the same couch.
We picked strawberries and played in the hay maze, it was the most beautiful day!
And of course we had to make a stop at the Ahmish market for some ribs and donuts.
We ventured to the Millville zoo, where we were lucky enough to watch a male peacock try to seduce a very scared and uninterested female.

Memorial day we packed up and biked around Valley Forge. We were ambitious with the kids and brought bikes for all of them. Aubrie and Robbie did awesome, the others got a bit tired, it is a hilly six miles after all.
Ryan, always so fun, stretching with the kids.

We even got a demonstration of the weapons they used on the battle fields back then.
A must when we all get together is date night. Doug and I have wanted to go to a Rodeo at Cowtown for the past three years and we finally went for our date night. Such a great night and rodeo. We had a good laugh at the gung-ho rodeo moms.
One last hug before they had to drive away.
Saying goodbye...bitter sweet.
