We had plans to go to NYC and take advantage of all that the city has to offer this time of year (since it will be our last year to do so). Life got in the way and NYC didn't happen but so Doug took a random day off and we explored the city of Brotherly love. Totally bummed that I never discovered this two years ago!
Macy's in Philadelphia is in an awesome old building...I love it! They had a fun light show, narrated by Julie Andrews (of course!) that was so cute! The kids loved it.
Dickens Village
They have this large walk-through animated village that follows the plot of 'The Christmas Carol.' It was so much fun...I don't know why but I just love things like this. The only downside is that Paige has had many sleepless nights because she can't get the images of the Marley Brothers out of her head.

| This is at the end, you can see Scrooge in the top left corner shouting Merry Christmas |
 |
| Syd did not know what to think...I tried to capture the face she held through the whole village. At one point she said, "Mom, scary me. Mom, scary me. |
 |
| Santa waits at the end of Dickens Village. I love Macy's Santa's. They are in separate rooms and always allow cameras, this lady even offered to take one of the whole family. Please note Paige's proximity to Santa...this is a first. |

| Found this fun plaza in center Philly called, "Make your move" |

| Sitting on the Monopoly hat. The building behind us is Center Philly, city hall. Such beautiful architecture. |
 |
| We found a big Christmas tree in Philadelphia, not quite the Rockefeller tree but the girls loved it. |

| Leah and I in the middle of City Hall, standing right at the heart of Philly. |
