Tonight I am filled with overwhelming love and gratitude for the man I married.
I guess love is constantly evolving, but I know for sure that when I "said yes"
I had no idea how great of a guy I was getting.
Doug is the perfect person for me. He is so level-headed and easy going, he completely balances out my feisty nature. He is so incredibly understanding and quick to pick up the slack at home. He gives me credit where I don't deserve it and never passes up on an opportunity to let me know how much he loves me.
Doug is an exceptional father. He shows compassion when I don't have the energy to do so. He is creative in turning every day things into teaching moments for our little girls.
He adores them and they adore him.
As I did the dishes and watched him read to the girls before hurrying out the door to another meeting, my rather difficult day turned into a happy one, my heart was filled with happiness and love.

Ahh. Those Doxey boys know how to treat their wives - they are all so good. Doug is great with all the girls but it will be fun to see him with boys in the future!!

Oh!!! I love this post!! The Doxey men really are awesome husbands. I feel so lucky too Amber!! And just for the record... I have always been a big Douglas fan! He has one of the best personalities around! :)
