Sydney is TWO (and I'm not even pregnant!)

I really can't believe that Sydney is two.  Cliche, I know but seriously! That means we've been in NJ for two years, we are two years through residency!

Sydney has been such a joy and blessing in our home. She is full of cuteness. She is the most confident and independent baby I have had, which is probably explained by her curiosity and observance. She is also the most attached to me...aka the leech.

Syd keeps me busy, if she's not attached to me she's climbing on, or into something, she shouldn't be.
The other day she wanted Cherrios, the box wasn't opened yet so she tore through the cardboard, scooted a chair over to climb on the counter and get a knife. Started sawing through the plastic bag. Cut her finger. Put the knife down and abandoned the mission. It wasn't until Leah screamed, "Syd is bleeding" that we discovered what she was up to and all Syd said was "ouch" while holding her finger up to us.

Sydney loves her babies, Mom's shoes, puzzles, cars, books, dogs, and really loves Elmo.
She hates bows or anything to make her look cute and doesn't like to eat much.

She says many words, some of my favs are: Melmo, Annie (her new friend), cow (for most farm animals), spoon (for all utensils), Pai (Paige), Eeya (Leah), eew (when she's poopy), pee (please)

Some of our favorite things Syd does lately is shrug her shoulders, repeatedly and randomly. She gives great hugs and kisses and is very good at saying "Goodbye" to anyone.

We love our Sydney girl. Happy Birthday!

Sydney one day old
We always find Syd doing some kind of trick

Syd loves her sisters and they adore her.

The Birthday girl...wouldn't look at the blasted camera

So happy about her new castle tent (90% off after Christmas!)

Leah and Paige insisted on an Elmo cake. Syd loves  "melmo" and she was so excited to eat her cake.
Very rewarding for me!
I didn't have have any plans once I started and I think it turned out pretty good -eh?

She is so full of energy. Luckily she isn't a chunker so you can carry her around all the time!! She really is a cute girl. Maybe we can both go on a baby hiatus and then have another in a few years when our older kids can be even better helpers!!! What do you think?!?!
