I often feel overwhelmed at the end of the day and want nothing more than to take off. Inevitably, once Doug gets home, I want nothing more than some quality family time. I can't get enough of being together. There's just something about when Dad is home that makes us all feel more complete, not to mention the extra helping hand to put out the flames.
Awhile ago, my friends informed us of "Cow Appreciation Day" at Chick-fil-a (have a I mentioned my love for this place?). I texted Doug about it and his reply way, "I get to dress up as I cow, I'm in." What a sport -eh? We got as decked out as possible and ran over for a family "date." Free meal for all, the girls were so excited to get a kids meal, as we normally don't do that.
To top it off, two family friends were there dressed as cows as well...fun for all!

I had a stress-filled day Monday, running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I had so much more to do but when Doug came home early- 3:30 (they finished all their cases quickly that day and this never happens on a Monday), I said to "heck with that" and we headed to Ocean City.
This mama needed some beach time with the peeps she loves.

Sometimes we just need to have fun. Wish we lived so close to a beach!! That pic of you and Doug at the end of the post is so cute. It is so rare to get pictures of Rich and I - I'm sure it's the same for you.
Awwwww.... FUN! You guys are SO DANG CUTE! :)
