It. Was. Epic!
We had such a great vacation with Doug's family, all 12 siblings and most of their families!
We had to miss out on family reunions, wedding, etc., so we loved being with everyone. Leah, Paige, and Sydney met and re-met many of their cousins- so sad that we've been away so long.
We reserved an entire campground that was surrounded by a reservoir. It was perfect! We had three boats, two jetski's, and eight canoes. We played hard all day and slept deep (much to my surprise) at night.
Here are some highlights (although so much more went on, I'm just a poor photographer):
| Freedom Parade in Provo- a must with Grammie before heading to Millsite. |
| Leah is in there with all those boy cousins. Max is feeling a bit machismo |
| It rained the first day but cleared up in time for dinner leaving this beaut. |
| Sasquatch- one of two awesome pinatas made by Alice |
| We had the reservoir basically to ourselves. |
| We never get to see the sunset in NJ, there are too many trees. Doug and I were basking in the beauty! |
| This family knows how to put on a parTAY- family dance! Yehaw! |
| Family 5-K and kids fun run. Dorothy made race bibs for everyone and followed with a raffle- so fun! |
| Can't beat the many helping hands. Syd really took to Uncle Rob- as evidenced by the pic, he's awesome with her |
| Paige and Caroline. Our girls hadn't really met some of their cousins...they bonded quickly. |
| I loved watching Debbie and Rob boogie board! |
| First time we've flown together in years...so of course we had to take a photo! |
| Our layover in Denver, from 10pm - 1 am. All four of these peeps fell asleep here and stayed asleep until NJ. |
