Let me start by saying we love visiting the Crane family in Fort Collins, always a good time!
We stopped through on the way out to Utah and arrived the morning after they got 8 inches of snow. The was no time to change out of PJ's, the kids went straight outside. Don't they have the most beautiful view? And the Fort Collins temple will be just outside their back window- so exciting!

After three weeks in Utah, the girls and I drove back to the Fort and finally met up with this handsome fellow. We were pretty stoked to see him. We didn't waste any time playing with all their fun toys. There was a lot of dressing up mixed with riding the bikes in the gym going on.
The second day we were there, Sydney climbed up on the fire place and burnt her hands on the glass. It had just been turned off and didn't register to us that it was hot until she was screaming. She burnt both hands BAD. Poor girl. Nothing worse than forcing a screaming baby to keep her hands in cold water. We felt like great parents. And to make it better, within three hours, Doug and I were out on a date. She had calmed down pretty well but I felt a bit of guilt for leaving her with Josh and Maddie. Sydney was back to herself the next day and adapted quickly to the bandages on her hands- they stayed on for over a week. Luckily we had a doctor close by who happens to specialize in wound care and Sydney let daddy take care of her with such confidence, it was cute. Her hands look great now!
Four more Doxey/Gibson families joined us the next Tuesday for Thanksgiving and it was a hoot! I took very few pictures but it was a constant party: around the world ping-pong, dance parties, tennis, zip-line, trampoline, runs, hikes, date nights, and a movie every night (that doesn't happen much with this busy group).
My favorite thing was the turkey trot with all 35 of us, Cosi-style, with music pumping. It was so fun to watch our huge group take off and wind through the neighborhood.
We had two strollers and this wagon. We usually had someone pushing behind but this thing really threw off your form and got very tiring. Of course, nothing phases Debbie- she's an animal.
