I'm sure everyone has those moments where they're caught off guard with the realization that your children are older, or bigger, or smarter than you think. This whole week has been one reminder after another that these kiddies continue to grow.
We've been having excellent weather here (60 yesterday!) so we're getting as much outside playing in as possible. Last weekend we took our first family bike ride with one of our kids on a bike. Leah rode her bike 3 miles! It was no workout for us but her poor little legs were moving at top speed. It was a very exciting event for Doug and I.
These girls are best buds.
They're creativity constantly amazes me.

Now this little girl is really growing. Babies are so smart! Did I not realize this with my other babies? She is so helpful. I can ask her to take something to Leah, Paige, or Dad and she will do it! She plays so well by herself and with the other girls. Syd usually prefers to be in the same room as Leah and Paige, which is a huge change for me.
The other day I was sweeping and Syd walked in, only observed the scene for a second, walked to the cupboard and got out the dust pan. She placed it on the floor ready for me to sweep everything into it. Pretty dang sweet eh?
