So I'm still prego- no surprise for me. I was induced with Leah and Paige, both a week over, so I figured it'd be the same story. My body doesn't like to go into labor, however I am dilated to a two and about 40% effaced- both of which my body has never done on it's own. We're scheduled to be induced Wednesday night so hopefully it'll go quicker being slightly more progressed than before.
It's funny how once you hit your due date, all the sudden the crankiness level sky rockets. Yesterday I asked Doug if we could go out as a family seeing as I haven't put any thought into meals- hoping I'd be in the hospital. As we were getting ready to go, we got a knock on our door (which hasn't happened since the week we moved here) and it was our great friends, The Brenchley's from NYC. We couldn't have asked for a better surprise. The best thing about it is earlier in the day Leah came and told us she said a prayer by herself on the bathroom floor. She prayed that "she could see her friends and cousins and that the airplane to Utah can't be too expensive." She was so excited that her prayer was answered and her BF Gavin showed up. We told her to keep praying about the airplane. Thanks for coming down Brenchley clan!
Here's what we've been doing while we wait...
Checking out the Jersey shore. It's pretty nice but very crowded and they charge per person to even walk on the beach...lame-o!
Cleaning the house...they are two great window washers.
Exercising.
Hideous picture but I realized I haven't posted a picture of me for about 9 months, and unfortunately this is the only one I have. We've been walking a ton, I like it alot more on less humid days.
Not pictured: swimming. We have a swimming pool at our complex and it has saved me this summer. The girls and I go almost every day.

We had so much fun. Thanks for letting us drop in on you! Your girls in their exercise clothes are adorable!
Love the exercising pic. And good luck on Wednesday!!!
YEAH for WEDNESDAY! We can't wait to hear the big news! Take care Amber and Best of Luck for a great delivery!!!! :) Cute cute pictures! Glad your friends came to visit!
That is so cute that Leah knelt to pray and asked for friends...So sweet. I am sure she will remember her prayer being answered for a long time. Tell her to start praying for the baby to come...maybe her prayers will be answered again and you will be so grateful I am sure. You are so lucky to have access to a pool. I would love that. You are a trooper too - exercising at 9 months+. Good luck!!
Go, go, go Amber. Great post. One day we might start posting again, after things calm down. We're praying all goes well. Thanks for letting me talk Doug's ear off now and again, and again.
good luck! YAY! cant wait to see pics!
