Catch up Part 1

Here's some of the not-so-latest happenings from the Doxey home.

We got our biggest (and I hope it's the last) snowstorm two weeks ago. Our back windows were full of icicles. When I pointed them out to Leah she explained that Daddy made them and she would tell him thanks when he got home from school. I responded by saying she has a really cool Dad. She agreed with a distant-like smile on her face.
Doug had a snow day so I got to take Leah out to actually play in the snow- this was her first time. I felt very nostalgic as I was making snow angels and jumping in the big piles of snow. Leah absolutely loved every minute. We had hot chocolate waiting for us inside. More nostalgia. Ahh.

The Saturday prior to our big snow storm, the annual Polar Plunge took place. It is an event to raise money for the special Olympics. If you raise money, you get to participate in running into the "ocean" on a disgustingly cold day. Who's idea was this? Anyway, Doug's school participated and volunteered as medical staff. Doug and his friend decided last minute to neglect their duties (they weren't really needed) and joined the others in the water. One word. INSANE!
Paige is so creative. She arranged this reading space herself. Cutie pie.
Cardon made these for Leah. We love our neighbors (Leah and Paige adore them). We're really going to miss them when we have to go.

First of all, you need to post whatever it is you make for your 4 winners. I am so impressed with your skills!

I love the bundled up picture of you and leah. So cute. And I love that paige made that space for herself to read. I love how she is really sitting in there "reading!"
