I love the moments when you can't help but feel like you're the luckiest mom on earth. Parenting is definitely hard but I love when it's totally worth it.
Yesterday I fell asleep while reading to Leah in the tent. I semi woke up when she quietly tried to get up, give me a kiss on the forehead and leave me to sleep. I opened my eyes and she said, "Shh, go nigh-night mommy." Leah has the sweetest heart.
A break for mom...movie time. Cute how they ended up huh?
Gavin and Leah making Valentine cookies.
Good times with the Brenchleys.
I introduced pudding finger-painting to Leah. She's such a clean girl that she had to have a cracker to paint with. Once she realized she could eat it (and it tastes good), she was having a heck of a good time.
Yellow scavenger hunt. This is a game to help teach the colors but still Leah calls yellow pink.
We had a few days of blissful weather this last week, I took the kids in the double jogger one day and realized they'd both gained a few pounds since the fall. It's a much more difficult workout. But here are some pictures of us enjoying a day outside.

Amber you do such fun, cute things with your girls. I need to get on the ball and get into doing fun stuff.
I love the picture of Paige standing in front of the car with her mouth opened so wide! And I love Leahs "finger" painting with the pudding. Your girls are cute.
And I am always impressed you get out and exercise. Since daylight savings and winter my exercise has gone down the tube.
And I love the worth it moment you had. So cute.
that is SO stinkin cute what leah said to you. what a cutie bug!! =) why to kids love tents in the house. so funny. my twin nieces love it too!
the yellow color game cracked me up! i guess girls just want everything to be pink =)
Leah's hair is so incredibly long. Man - she is too cute. Little Paige is adorable too. You are a great mom - I need to try the color scavenger hunts with my boys - even though they are older now and know their colors. By the way - your last post got me to get back on the potty training wagon and I think Sam is almost there - he only has #2 accidents. Thanks for inspiring me to be a better mom - seriously.
Leah is so cute a little kiss on the head.
What a good mommy you are. That's so cute that Leah gave you a kiss goodnight. I always fall asleep reading to my kids too. There's just something about it that works like a charm.
You really do have to live from one "worth it" moment to the next. I remember Elder Ballard taking about this in "that" amazing talk he gave. It always helps me to read that once in a while. Glad you're making the best of cabin fever!
I can't believe how long Leah's hair is! You're such a great mom. Your girls are darling.
I love all the pics and updates! one of these days Chad and I will come out and visit you! we miss you guys! p.s. we need to plan a video chat some weekend! love from Em and Chad aka ChEm
