Leah! Our cute and very proud-to-be-underwear-ing girl.
We've gone three days without an accident. Tinkles and poops (ice cream was all we needed to say for that one).
Cabin fever. I'm sure many of you mothers are experiencing it. I'm going crazy trying to think of things to do that will keep both of my toddlers entertained. I have to think of things that will challenge Leah and that aren't easy for Paigey to destroy- she's really good at that. So here's some of our fun lately.
Reading/picnic time on a blanket in the kitchen. Who ever thought that simply changing locations could make reading time so much fun? Oh and Paige HAS to be touching Leah somehow when they're sitting down, it's so funny.
We traced Leah's body and made clothes then Leah got to decorate it. Not too fancy but she loved it. Leah had a lot of fun putting the "girl" in time out. And yes, Paige was quick to destroy this one.
My friend does this with her kid. A scavenger hunt to teach colors. It was a very fun activity.
Just chillin' with the princess.
I broke out the dress-up garb that I scored in the $1 spot at Target (love it). Of course Leah is in heaven but I've been so surprised how much Paige is into it. She's quite the dancer lately.
Couldn't be more dainty.
We've been eating a lot of sandwiches cut into fun shapes w/ our cookie cutters. Leah is a great help in the kitchen- especially when I need a taste tester.

YEA for Leah on the potty training! Amber~ I am so impressed! You are such a good mommy!
Looks like fun at the Doxey house!
What - Leah is potty trained - I give up. Sam is still working on it but I hope we are on the home stretch. What a fun idea - the color scavenger hunt.
Wow. Such cute ideas to do with your kids. I'll have to steal them someday when Annie is old enough. I love it! You're such a fun mom!
Potty training! Ahhhh! That's what I've been doing the last 3 days. So far--one time in the potty. :) And, why did we clean our carpets before this?
Leah, nice work on the poops and tinkles! Amber, very creative ideas. I think the payoff for doing these types of activities with your kids is more than you or I realize.
PS - Robbie has been in potty-training mode for a month now. It has been pretty much been 50/50 on the success rate thus far. Keep up the good work!
Congrats Leah!!! Freedom Amber--woohoo! You're so creative -great ideas!
