Christmas OD

I just had to say OD because that's what my Mom says after every Christmas, "We OD'd (is that even a word) this year!" Either I'm getting old, my house is really small and clutter gets to me easily, or we really did over do Christmas. What ever it is, we had a great day.

The kids kind of got it. Once they discovered they could open gifts, there was no holding back. Once gifts were done, the rest of the day consisted of a german pancake breakfast, movies, playing with toys, lots of goodies, mexican soup, and ended with a walk in our neighborhood to look at lights.  It was the quietest Christmas we've ever had, we missed family a ton but still, the day was wonderful.

We got Leah lots of baking stuff and play food. We have been served amazing meals ever since. Even Paige pretends she's drinking.

Here's Paigey looking like she was woken up too early. But she loved her stocking gift best.

Leah didn't want the gifts in the stocking, she just wanted to stick her feet in hers. "No mom, it's a sock!"

I love this picture of Leah by Santa's gifts. She actually said "Cheese"

For Christmas eve we went to our friends house who just moved away from Queens. We couldn't have asked for a better family to help us feel like we were at home. Great dinner, company, well everything was great. Thanks guys! Here's Leah and Ronin posing. Might just be too cute.

The last picture is just of Paige and Leah doing their favorite thing. Disorganizing my corner cabinet in the kitchen. Paige can stand up in there. They say bye-bye and close the door behind them. It's a love-hate activity for me.
