My sister Lizzie is here and has been here for about two weeks. She came to just hang out with us and has baby-sat for one of my friends a number or times. She has been a great visitor and I really have felt the lightened load with her here. Leah loves her, she calls her 'Izzy' and it's just too cute.
We've done a number of things but I what I've enjoyed most is having someone do the everyday stuff with me: laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, kids, etc. I've loved it.
Since Lizzie has been here, we've gone to the beach three times. Last Saturday there were jellyfish everywhere- literally! Doug and I were too anxious about the waves so we just went in. I came out feeling like I ran through a bunch of stinging metal all over my body and got a real stinger under my suit on my belly. But the stinging went away so of course we went back in. And yes, it was worth it.

Lizzie and the girls at Union Square stopping for lunch. She was so funny b/c she was so excited to eat her delicious meal from Whole Foods and when we sat down in the park, the smells ruined every bite. Her face said it all, she even got some body spray to freshen the air up around her.
- Paige hit two milestones in the last two days. First, she pulled herself to a standing position (on our rocking chair). We were shocked! Second, she's crawling (and yes, they happened in this order). She's so determined to play with Leah.
- Leah can put on her own shoes. She is constantly putting them on and comes up to me, about an inch away from my face- stroking my cheek-, and says "ma-ma, WALK"
- Doug really enjoys working in the clinics. I think it's more draining than he expected but he's getting great exposure to treating patients and LOVES what he's doing.

I can't believe you guys took on the jellies! Your'e hardcore. That pic of Leah on the beach, is super cute!! well, they all are, as you know, but I really like that one.
How much longer is Lizard there? How fun for both of you! YOu have a crawler! How exciting and I'm sure your life just got a whole lot busier!

I once had my sister in law live with me for a time. It was so nice to have her around helping and to talk to.

Ummmm I've been stung by a jelly fish before and let me tell you I would never do it again if I could help it! That's the worst thing ever! I don't think I'd ever ever ever want to go swimming that bad! Seriously! Ahhhhhh.

That is so nice to have a live-in nanny. We are dreading the day Jill leaves us. Your girls really are so beautiful. Love the pics!
