Doug's First Post

I just thought I'd make a special guest appearance on the blog and say that it's the holiday season and I'm excited to spend our first Christmas in New York! Amber's fam is coming in and it'll be a hoot.
Amber had her NYC stage performance debut this evening. She was the Ghost of Christmas to Come (or something of that nature, maybe of the Future?) Either way she was phenomenal! I wish I had a picture, she was standing on a 31/2 box in the middle of the stage wearing a flowing white veil on her head with a uber prego belly glistening in the stage lights advising a couple of the future they had together. Perhaps her tightly shirt wrapped in utero child was telling more of the couples eventual fertility than of just a simple marriage. Hmmm!?
And last but not least the pic of Leah (no post of ours is complete without her latest picture). Some grand'ol friends of ours baby sat for us and while we were out they had Leah's first Rock and Roll photo shoot. This is my favorite shot. She's just sassy even with a nose full of goobers.

Welcome DOug. Looks like Leah is following right in your footsteps, all she needs now is for you to teach her how to do a knee slide while air guitaring!

Douglas and Amber...this Christmas is the first BLOG Christmas in the family. Everyone needs to post full pictures, stories, anecdotes, hilarity for all to share. BTW, I was transferring 1995 video to DVD tonight and there is a sweet clip of Dave on Bass, you on your Stratocaster and me on drums. Dude, I was fast in a past life.

Hey Doug, that's one good looking kid. It sounds like Amber isn't too bad herself. What a lucky guy.
