Okay, things seem to be working on the blog now--Honestly I've got no idea what happened. I tried everything.
Alright, 6 Things people don't know about Douglas Doxey (as per the request of Lesterbdox)
1) I want to write a book on media theory (Didn't see that coming did ya!). Not a text book, but somewhere in between and text and a casual read.
2) Whenever I want to say something "random" I unrandomly (if that's a word) like to use one of the following themes: Jell-O molds, Gravy, or Gazebos. Often I'll just combine the three. It commonly results in a "good times had by all" scenario. So I tell myself.
3) Turns out that I'm a nerd. Many of you might have already known this but this past year it has become quite evident to me. It's come out as a result of lunch conversations at school. I seem to be well informed in Simpsons, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, random fact trivia, and I love talking all science like. "well of course you'll have a sagittal plane equinus if your soleal/gastroc appneurosis is hyperfused...blavin!"
3) I've got a "I'm about to go postal" plan. It is: If I ever come home with last minute tickets to Tahiti or Tonga (any Polynesian island for that matter) Amber knows to not as any questions and to get ready b/c we may be gone for as long as a month.
4) I really like cars and engine technology. I could test drive different cars all day. In fact just the other day I took and online test drive, it was great.
5) I started out life with a semi-inny/outty belly button. As I grew I converted to an inny (especially on my mission). Frustrated I work hard and got back my semi-inny/outty. Now I've faltered and have the deepest inny I've ever possessed.
6) This past year has made me quite fond of diet soda. I like it flat. No carbonation. It helps it go down nice and easy. I like Diet Coke the most it has 46 mg/can of caffeine as opposed to the 36 mg/can of Diet Pepsi. Really, why would anyone actually drink diet soda?

My husband is a nut...who knew he could post something I didn't even know about him! If you can't tell, he makes me laugh a lot, gosh I love that guy.
Thanks for the response Doogie! I am laughing out loud. You are awesome! I miss you and your
AMA-ZAY-ZING sense of humor! Your the tops! :)
p.s. I also like how you have two number threes. :)
I always thought you were a nut but now I know you are a nut. I mean that in a good way!!!
In my defense I was getting a child up for the day in between each paragraph, and lastly something crazy has been happening in my life lately and that's the number 7. It's been popping up everywhere. Craazy.
haha. Love the use of the "blaven" if being well infornmed with Simpson's facts makes you a nerd, you can call me Martin Prince.
Thats funny! :)
Hey I got your Christmas card! Thanks so much! It was so cute. Sometime Bill and I need to come stay with you guys! Maybe we'll wait til the baby comes and is grown a bit! are you getting excited/nervous?
Dooglas,
If things weren't so complimicated (another Simpsonism), and if lisdexia were't an issue, I'd be right there with ya learning the lingo of the feet. Would that all could do go to Tahiti with you. Seriously, if you go postal, it's cheaper to come to the Bay Area. The hills are turning bright green right now, 60 degrees, (butt cold in the morning though 35-ish)and incredibly beautiful. I swear this is what the Garden of Eden must have been like. Convinced?
Aaah, Douglas... you ARE the coolest!
Love ya lots!
