This is not second grade anymore!

Leah has had to do so many reports this year, the work load has been ridiculous. Leah often gets in the car when I pick her up from school and sheds a few tears because school is just so hard and her teacher isn't very nice about explaining things.
Every time I go in to ask for clarifications, etc. Her teacher just says, "This is not second grade anymore!" Sometimes I want to respond and say, I know...it's third grade. Is there something I'm not understanding about that?"
At least some of the projects are enjoyable, Leah loved learning about Betsy Ross.
