Purse shopping

Sydney is one fashionista, I've known this for awhile but she just keeps surprising me with the depth of her fashion awareness. She and I had to run a quick errand in Kohl's, she had some money with her and wanted to spend all of it on a purse. I didn't want her to spend everything she had so we searched and searched the clearance sections. She finally found a wallet for $4 that was to her liking. But she was still set on a purse. So I told her I knew of a place where we could get a cute "mom" purse (that's what she wanted...no kids purse) for less money. Every. Single. Day. She begged to go. Goodwill isn't very convenient for us to get to so it took about a week finally get over there. And it was such a great time for me (minus the fact that I had Brigham with me, screaming and throwing a fit to GET. OUT!!)

She took about 40 minutes inspecting and trying on all the purses. She knew exactly what she was looking for. I'd suggest one or after her inspection she'd declare, "too short. too big. too square. not movey enough. too deep. straps too hard, etc, etc." I loved all the descriptions. She was so fixated and almost stressed about this decision. What a riot! I almost want to take her shopping more often just to watch her brain at work. I know we have a lot of great memories to look forward to shopping with this kid.

And this was the winner. A cute, medium, bendy, purple one. Costing only $4.99!

And Leah could not leave the store without this one. She loved it so much, she wants to save it until she's a mom.
