Mariam got home from her mission! And I got to go to Texas to see her, it was such a blast! She's awesome and didn't seem very weird at all as far as returned missionaries go. We had such a blast hearing stories- especially the recap of the night she was drugged by her companion. We did a lot of hanging out by the pool, went to challenger park and Galveston. It was a bit chilly but Mariam and I got in because in her words, she "needed to be free."

| Chad and Erika went on a cruise for a week and were so worried to leave Brady so I had to take a picture of the bump Brady got on his head about 30 min after they left. It wasn't too funny to my Mom but it will be later so why not document it, right? |

| Liz, Laura, and I got so excited with Mariam as she talked to Calvin for the first time. She was so giddy and cute, honestly it was kind of fun to vicariously relive those feelings with her. |
We had an adult Chopped night. It was hilarious. There were six groups: One appetizer and two sides, then the second round was two dinner entrees and one dessert. It was hilariously pathetic how into the critiquing we got and also quite impressive what everyone came up with.
