Jimmy and Liz Gillespie!
A beautiful, fun wedding. So excited for these two and always a little bit envious of their newly-wed status.
I don't always remember the advice given during the actual sealing but I really loved some of the advice that Jimmy's grandpa (the sealer) gave. He encouraged them to be predictable. I thought about how when we are dating, we kind of treat it like a game. Wanting to have the ball in our court, not wanting to be vulnerable etc. But the games are over when we get married. Be predictable. I love it. And I think I need to work on it more, I shouldn't expect that Doug knows what I'm thinking...just talk, be transparent.
I can't get all these pictures in order. So a quick recap of the weekend...
-Breakfast at Snowpine lodge with the Gillespie crew
-Beautiful garden reception- dancing, good food, etc.
-Watching Jimmy and Liz open presents at Snowpine.
-Ceremony at Oquirrah mountain Temple. Beautiful.
-Luncheon at Wheeler Farm- classic Jensen song to Sloop John B, survival advice for Jimmy, etc
-Robbie's baseball game
-Provo Half-marathon and kids race
-Aubrie's soccer game and day at the park
-Dinner and hanging out at Snowpine lodge
