Mr. Brig turns one

Our boy has turned one. I dislike all those cliche's, "where has the time gone" "slow down" etc, etc. But seriously!  Honestly it was a rough year- so much has happened, I just don't like that part of that has been him getting bigger.  

We love our baby boy/brother so very much. Brigham is quickly establishing his place in the home. He will be heard and has the lungs to prove it! He loves his sister but gets especially excited when Sydney wakes up or comes in the room. He loves to tackle her, she equally loves it. Brigham is obsessed with dogs, sadly to me, it was his first "word" meaning, he says a sound, "da" and knows what he is trying to say. His excitement when he sees any dog is so fun to watch. He is all boy, makes car noises, loves to play with balls, and makes the same animal sound for all his toy animals- he loves animals! He is starting to walk but prefers to crawl, since he can get anywhere at lightning speed on all fours. He loves the bathroom- especially the girls toothbrushes, the girls bedroom where he gets into either the jewelry drawer or Paige's special drawer. He has figured out how to open our doors, those dang door knobs. Loves to be outside, especially if he can be playing in dirt. Has no fear diving down a slide head first. He keeps us on our toes!

We were up at Tahoe with Chad and Erika and went for a hike the morning of his birthday. When we wanted to take a "birthday" picture of Brigham and Brady, Brigs started freaking out, it was hilarious!

Brigham got Rolos on his "special" piece of cake decorated for him by Leah. He went straight for the candy...lucky guy.
