Paige's 6th- FROZEN Bday

We do birthday parties every other year...thank goodness. It was no surprise that for Paige's party, the theme would be Frozen. I'm pretty sure every little girl had a Frozen themed party this year. This made it easy to find ideas off pintrest and the internet to make it as cheap as possible.
Paige was very involved in the creation of the party and had some very particular ideas in mind. Like, the cake needed to be taller than just a regular barbie cake. I pulled the cake out without any help and I was pleased as punch at how it turned out.

Over all the party was a huge success and our six year old couldn't have felt more special, which makes me happy.
Happy Birthday to our Paigey girl!

Decorating the cake was easy enough that the kids could participate too!

The hanging PAIGE balloons. And Heidi had this dress that looked like it was meant to be an Elsa dress...PERFECT addition to make Paige feel even more special!

Eating lunch after decorating their crowns.

Paige and her cute group of friends. As always, Kristie, Sierra, and Heidi were sweet to come help out.

Opening presents...everyone is too generous.

Making pinatas from scratch is one of my least favorite things to do. Its messy, takes a couple of days and always takes over my kitchen. But you sure save a lot of money. I will say that our Olaf pinata turned out awesome though. We were sticking the crepe paper on at the very last minute.

We had blue jello, Frozen punch, white chocolate pretzels, Sven food- carrots,  and little pizzas.

Pin the nose on Olaf...a big hit. The great artwork done by Doug.

I think Doug got a bit tired holding onto that pinata, especially because it took a lot of hitting to bust it open.

That's one happy six-year old. And one cute cake!

They got pretty good at glueing the crepe paper down...thank goodness for the help!
