I'm not hip

Before I got sick I was in a great running groove. I was picking up speed and distance like it was my job (not really because if it were I'd be running in Kara Goucher or Deena Castor's crowd). Then I got sick and it set me back in a major way.
I usually don't run and listen to music. I enjoy thinking and taking in my surroundings but now that I've regressed, I need some jams.

Now, I'm not hip. We don't have TV, I listen to NPR in the car. At home the most frequent Pandora radio station I listen to is I won't dance by Frank Sinatra.
My clothes come from my generous sister-in-law, who has good taste.
Shoot, Doug and I don't even know what movies are out until they are in the Red Box (but I am counting the days until Hunger Games comes out).

Point being, I am looking for new running music.
If you have any good tunes, please let me know.

try a little G Love and the special sauce. YOu may have to pick and choose some that are upbeat but they will get you moving. my fav to run to is Kiss and Tell.
i usually do certain songs by artists, never an entire album.
also like New York New York by Ryan Adams
Black horse and cherry tree by KT Tundstall
heart by blondie
and anything ABBA!!
