Jon Bon...or should I just say Jovi!?

First off, this is Doug. Amber asked me to do a post to bring everyone up to speed on the last one. Wow, where to begin? We get to live in the same state as Jovi. Needless to say I've already got some snake skin leggings and a new pop to my bangs that I think will get us far in New Jersey. Hey, it worked for Jon Bon. We're going to move to New Jersey this June right after graduation. I'll be doing a 3 year residency in Vineland, NJ in the South Jersey Health Care System. I'm really excited about the whole thing. The area is the opposite of Queens, basically its farmland with scattered townships throughout the area, quite picturesque. Truthfully, its going to be a weird transition. Amber and I both felt uncomfortable with so much open space. After driving around the city we commented how we actually feel more at ease in the crowded city than the open country. We felt vulnerable. Ironic. The Hospital is brand spanking new and the program I believe is actually going to provide better training than any of the programs really wanted. Funny how that works.
Now for the good stuff. We're going to have another girl!!!!! It totally caught us be surprise. I think we were convinced that it was a boy. We don't have any names picked out, we really didn't even imagine 3 in a row. That's a TON of estrogen stacked against me.  I might just might have to have a little man time now and again. Which means I'll probably get called in to scouts. :]

Well, to end, things are great! We're excited for our new journey and sad to leave our fun life and friends in Queens. But Hey,  We're Cowboys! On Steel Horses We Ride! And We're Wanted!! WANTED! Dead or Alive!

Love it - you are hilarious. We are excited for you guys - as we've said before!! We are kind of jealous of you life - you get to explore and live in different places. Knowing our luck we will be in Viva forever. Congrats again on the girl - call if you need girl name ideas. Rich is a nerd - don't ask him he'll just veto everything you suggest but I on the other hand have some great suggestions and I will support whatever you two choose!!!

There are many reasons I married you, Doug but the first is because you're so spankin hilarious and you make me laugh.

wow... it is funny how life works out right? I am SO glad you will be close to us! SO glad you will get good training and SOO glad you will live in the country! I am still a bit uneasy when its dark outside and no light or sounds to keep me company. Plus ANYONE can see in your windows! But most of all I am so happy for you with your new little girl. I understand how the odds are against you Doug... believe me I do. but what a beautiful thing it is. How blessed we all are to have another Doxey coming into the world!
