New...

New interaction with Leah:

Doug: "Guess what Leah."
Leah: "What."
Doug: "I love you so much..."
Leah: "Kay." (says the sassy two-year old as she turns around to continue playing.)

New favorite picture of Daddy and his baby girl...
New haircut...
New [first] step (Paige continues to try to walk, she's still pretty unstable but soon enough. Plus she's diggin Leah's glasses)...
New way to say "Cheese"...
New mad face (I think it's pretty darn cute. Leah and I were talking about emotions the other day, unfortunately this isn't the "mad" face I see when she's mad and pushes her friends or mad b/c she doesn't get what she wants)...
New pet (ok it's not ours, we came home last night and FOUND a stray turtle on our sidewalk!)...

New car!!!
Not New, waiting for our car...

We've been casually looking for a van for about a year now and found this 2005 Nissan Quest last Monday. Our Bens has been having issues so our search became less causal. We got an amazing deal on our van. Doug went to a major dealership in the area (Paragon Honda) and they hadn't sold any cars that day so they were anxious to just move one,  so we got it for about $5,000 under the bluebook price, there's only 28k miles and still about 40k miles left on warranty, and very clean! To make a long story short...don't ever buy a car from a dealership in NYC, it was the most ridiculous process ever.

We BOUGHT it last Monday and because they "forgot" to send the fax to our bank, and don't return phone calls, etc. etc. etc., we didn't get the car until yesterday. So, finally the unhappy wife got involved. On top of all the waiting, our Bens died last Thursday. Good timing on the find but ridiculous that we didn't have the van. Even once we got to the dealership, we had to wait around to even get in the car, they couldn't find the keys. As you can tell by the picture, Doug had had it. But as we drove away we were love our new ride. Wahoo!

Wow! Tons of "NEW" stuff going on in your life! 1st - Adorable haircute! It reminds me of you in highschool. I don't know why, but it made me miss you! 2nd - I'm so jealous of your van! We've been looking for cars for a long time too and finally just got another used one today. NOTHING like the deal you got! Jealous. That's all I have to say! 3rd - Your kids are adorable! I wish I could see you guys sometime! Are you coming to AZ for Christmas or is your family in Utah? I can't remember! Anyway, love ya!
