Although having our two girls so close together has it's challenges, it is getting so fun to watch them become friends and playmates. Leah and Paige love each other so much and are starting to actually play- at least for about 10 minutes or so.
I love that Paige thinks Leah is so funny and laughs so easily at her. Leah is starting to talk a lot and gets very concerned if Paige is crying or if I put her in the car first and Paige is "gone" for a second. It is so cute and I'm so grateful that Leah has such a sweet personality as the big sister.
Leah has also caught on to "playing" lately. She is beginning to pretend and have conversations with the little people. My favorite is when the whole farm goes to sleep and she knocks all the people and animals over screaming nigh-night, SHHHH! She has also caught on to my grunts when something goes wrong, I can always tell if Paige has ruined her toys because I hear this grunt followed by an annoyed, "no bebe!"
These are two of Leah's good friends, she calls them "Trash (Cache), and Oin (Ronin). I'm so glad Leah has such great friends.
These biscuits are the only way I can get the dishes, cleaning, or cooking done. I love them and so does Paige.
This was a very precious moment. Paige followed Leah into her room and they were both jamming out on the piano. In the bottom picture, Paige has a huge smile, it's so fun to watch them from a distance.
I got the chance to run alone the other day and I was just thinking about how much I love my family. I feel bad that I complain at all because I couldn't imagine being so happy without these blessings in my life. I'm a lucky woman.

Awesome post and pictures Amber! Those are darling little girls you have... it reminds me so much of when Lindsey and Katie were that age... they were only 14 months apart, and even though it was hard, as you said, it was a great time in our life when they were little... enjoy those special little moments~ I alreay can't remember them!! They are great friends now, though, like you said, and it has been so amazing to watch them grow up as best friends. Being a mom is so hard, but the most rewarding thing ever!! :)

total cuteness!
Isn't being a mom the best?!! These are the times that are so rewarding. Being able to step back and look at the cuteness is a blessing. Way to go Amber!---Deb
p.s. Rob and I were biking the other day and I again wanted to sing "the hills are alive" when I remembered the Led Zeplin you screeched out on one of our rides at such a time! The thought of you brought a big, toothy, bug catch'n smile to my face! :)
you do have quite the adorable girls! I'm sure they'll be bf's for life.
Life looks like it is going great guys! I am sooo impressed with your no sweets goal Amber, it is somewhat inspiring and I may need to implement it. Your girls are adorable!
