YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!

The last couple of days have been really rough for me. I know most Moms have bad days (for some of you, it's hard to believe), but I'm really struggling lately. Paige is the cutest thing ever but only when you hold her. She cries a lot lately. Leah's also the cutest thing but with a demanding little sister has also become demanding in her own way and "abusive" to Paige.

So right now it's 4:30 am. We've been up with Leah since 1:30 and I've lost my cool about ten too many times. I'm too irate to sleep so what else to do but blog about it!

Exercise balances me out, if I start my day with it, I'm a happier mom. My alarm WAS set for 6:30. Thanks my sweet little Leah.

Oh my goodness! I'm not in labor yet. Drop Leah off for a few hours. Let her rough-house with Gavin. It will be good for both of them!

I'm not much help during the day, but Brent is working late (like 11pm) and on Saturday. I would love to play with one of them or both for a couple of hours to give you a break or to give you and Doug some time together!

Our baby, London, is the same as Paige. She is happy and cute and fun--as long as someone is holding her. But if we put her down, it's not too long before she starts to cry. Luckily it's a stage they all get over...eventually. This too shall pass. You have SUCH cute kids though and what a cute family. Love keeping up with you guys on your blog. Hope tonight you get more sleep!

Oh my gosh Amber... I can relate. Ellie was such a hard baby. Those first two years of her life almost put me over the edge. She cried NONSTOP... that's why she's our last. I totally feel for you. It is VERY hard to deal with! Hang in there! We can't wait to see you guys!

You poor thing. Jack wanted to be held as well. So I compromise. I hold her when doing certain things and she has to sit in a bumbo or swing during other things. She can do small amounts several times a day. As for Leah, Sam is the same. I think all older siblings are borderline rough with the little one. They like to see cause and effect. It is good you get some exercise time, that is my unwind time too. Hang in there, you are doing great!! It will get better.

Oh my.. I totally know how you feel! Just yesterday I had stay up a majority of the night doing something for my sister and then my son woke up way earlier than he usually does!! I had about two hours of sleep and I turned into demon mama!!! Honestly I felt so guilty but after I got a good some sleep I felt much better!

Unconditional love is seriously the only thing that gets you through those baby days!

Honestly if I lived close and you knew me among other things I would come over and take care of the kids while you got some sleep! Hopefull somebody can help you out!

I've already said a quick prayer for your relief = ).

Tell Doug HI for me and try and get some sleep!!!

Caleb hates being put down, too. It's so hard to do things with one hand!!! And it's dang exhausting. It's like WHEN are you going to SLEEP already!? I feel ya. It's okay to think it's hard, because it is! And it's rewarding at the same time. Just thought you'd know I"m there with you.

oh man! It's so hard. I wish I lived close to you so I can hold your baby. Then maybe I would remember how hard it really is and wouldn't want an other one now. Good luck Amber! Hang in there! It gets easier!!!

I feel ya. It is so hard to plan to exercise with kids... it always takes back seat. I feel like I can handle ANYTHING in life if only I could get some sleep. You are not alone. One day, right?

I've had plenty of days and nights like that! I used to strap on the bjorn carrier so that Ezra would think he was being held just so I could stoop over and hold Kleven at the same time. If you do squats at the same time, you could call it a work out. If I was lucky, Ezra would fall asleep and I would undo the carrier enough to get out of it but leave Ezra in it to lay him down and then run like mad out of the room.

Your blog is darling and so are your kids. I'm not sure how I found you, but I've been blog hopping tonight. I so understand those bad mommy days. I hope you have a chance to rest soon and refuel.

Its so nice to know that I'm not the only one who has bad moments every now and then. I guess thats what being a mom is all about, and why we deserve soooo much credit! =) I still think I deserve a vacation without my kids, but alas Dallin, at 18 months, is still my breastfeeding addict!
