An attempt at family pictures, Erika and Jordan announced their engagement in this way (you can see Erika's hand showing off her ring. Right after this, Jordan ripped off his shirt to expose a black shirt and to join the family pictures. Instead we all dog-piled he and Erika. Congrats you guys, we're so excited for you!
Grandpa Jensen gave pony rides to Leah and Aubrie, it was so cute, he would speed up by the couch and then dump both of them off his back onto it. They loved it!
Karla got home from her mission in LA, she is a spiritual giant, it was so fun to reunite.
Our second annual date night with my high school BF's and husbands
(we missed you Anna and Jeddy). Good food and lots of Wii fun.
Going to Jay's volleyball games- he's the star! We basically doubled the
crowd so they gave us a family discount, I think it was because we were such a sight.
Girl's Day out- all went to Cheesecake factory and then went shopping to get Karla back in style after her mission. It was so fun to watch her try on the outfits we picked out for her.
We went to Disneyland and California Adventure with Chad and Laura. After
everything, Doug kept saying "That was better than I anticipated." Here
they are enjoying the California Adventure parade, it was awesome.
Chad's (our brother-in-law) Dad took us out on their boat, the boys went fishing all day (and got scorched) and we joined them at the end. I even got to drive it back to the dock...I was amazing. Laura caught the biggest fish of the day. This is just off the Cali coast.

Chad's Mom and sister took the two babies, it was so NICE!
The day before we left, we blessed Paige and of course we forgot to get a lot of pictures.
This was the first thing Leah did when she got on the plane, she's growing up too fast.
As soon as we got to my parent's house, Leah ran all around
the backyard, she was loving the space and grass.

In addition to all of this we had a great day of family Olympics, a lot of tennis, swimming, and family time. Thanks to everyone for such a great trip. We miss you already.

Wow - what a trip. I wish my husband was still in school so he had a couple of weeks off. Maybe I can convince him to go get another degree!?! Arizona and California looked beautiful. That is so cool that one sister is engaged and another just off her mission. I would love to see all the Jensens together. You were all a hoot at the wedding and receptions for you and Doug but I haven't been around them since. Maybe we could arrange for the 12 Doxey kids to go on a cruise with all their spouse, and children and then invite all of the in-laws and family. I am sure we could get a group rate or better yet get a ship all to ourselves!!!

Looks like an awesome family vacation Amber! I cannot believe how much your family has changed since I last saw them. Laura looks like such a cute mom with her baby! Everyone looks SO good and I can tell you all still have more fun together than probably any other family I know. That's neat that Doug has another year of school under his belt now. I remember checking off the years of graduate school as they went by. :) I saw that Ryan is going to MBA school at UGA too. That will be awesome. I have several friends who are professors in the business school there. It was fun to see updates on all your family!

wow- Amber, what a blast!! I am so glad you guys got a great vacation! That looks so fun- you have a great family... and your little family is so darling. We had to Cali next week for my brothers wedding... we are doing the disneyland thing too. Thanks for getting us pumped. I will pass along to Sam that Doug said all was better than anticipated. :)

OK, So I have so many comments I hope I dont forget them they are all so important! So you have so many girls in your family. How did I not realize this? hOW old is Laura? She is married??!!! And has a baby??!! And Doug is an old fart just like Drew! Scarey! And I am sure I had more, oh yah! Paige is so big now!! she is a cute baby!
